I do not believe that everyone struggling emotionally needs intensive therapy. Sometimes all it takes is having the necessary tools to get through the rough patches. Mindfulness meditation is a powerful tool for healing, growth, and well-being.

As part of my work toward reducing mental stigma in BIPOC communities, I became a certified mindfulness meditation coach. Meditation coaches can play an important role in helping POC cope with day-to-day stressors and find some relief from racial stress and trauma.
